Join me on the shortest day of the year for a cosy festive workshop where we celebrate light. Create a beautiful table centrepiece to really bring the outside in, using the finest seasonal foliage, dried elements and scented spruce to create a sustainable, reusable winter decoration. They'll be festive drinks and nibbles and relaxing music to brighten even the darkest day.
Taking nature as our inspiration and using a glass storm lantern set on a natural log slice, we'll create something unique for your festive table, or to gift to a loved one.
Please note, fresh winter foliage will gradually dry out over a period of several weeks but fresh stems can be foraged or cut from your garden to extend the arrangement indoors. The vase and mechanics can be re-used throughout the year.
Date: Saturday 21 December, 3-5pm.
Location: The Spring Cafe & Community Shop, 299 Barnsley Road, Wakefield WF2 6EG. Free parking in front of the building and to the rear. The venue is fully accessible venue and easily reached by bus or train (5 minutes walk from Sandal and Agbrigg train station).
